CAREER PERSPECTIVES
Operations expertise is highly transferable and leads to a broad range of career opportunities. Graduates may begin their careers as Supply Chain Analysts, Procurement Specialists, Operations Project Managers, Logistics Managers, or Operations Consultants, and can also move into transformation and performance-improvement roles. Because the track combines analytical depth, managerial perspective, and execution capability, its graduates are valued across consulting, industry, retail, technology-intensive industries, and other performance-driven sectors.
Career outcomes are particularly strong as mentioned above. This attractiveness is also reflected in the wider French market. APEC[1] indicates that the median annual gross compensation for cadres reached €55k in 2025, rising to €58k in Île-de-France, while role-specific data in supply chain points to strong early-career salary ranges and sustained employer demand for operational profiles.
International and experiential dimension
Students may complete part of the track through international offerings, including Singapore and Rabat, depending on academic scheduling and mobility arrangements. This remains a powerful differentiator compared to most of the other tracks at ESSEC, as a globally oriented and professionally grounded track.
